ODU's acting president speaks to Rotary Club
ODU's acting president, John Broderick, spoke to the Chesapeake Rotary Club, both impressing and amusing the Rotarians. ODU has graduated over 100,000 students from 100 countries and will soon have 7,000 students living on or within walking distance of the campus. Receiving increasing recognition in academics, it is also creating a stir in the athletic world as it builds a stadium for a football team, with ticket sales approaching a sell-out more than a year before the first game.
